Company
News (reported
June 4, 2003)
PEC will be busy with two primary projects this year. We are in the
second season of comprehensive ecological investigations being conducted
in the Black Buttes area of the Black Hills near Sundance, Wyoming.
This second season will focus on small mammals and an overall forest
management plan. The second project involves an extensive fishery inventory
to be conducted within the Missouri River basin in North and South Dakota.
We will be assessing Topeka shiner populations in the area to be used
to identify critical habitat for this listed species. Our other projects
are located in Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Arizona, South Dakota
and Montana.
